I think they have two different sets.
    I prefer the thinner ones.
I have seen them on other Fchatters cars and love 'em.
so I have a pair comin my way

I am not home yet, but they might be at the house.
I will post good pics as soon as I get them

Cool, Thanks for the heads up. I was about to spend 200 and they were with a sticky back. I prefer the magnets. Much easier.

you cant go wrong with Yoshi.....he has a special on the 1.5 mm but, i went with the 1.0 mm and i love them....but be careful on the placement...do not go to low...i hate when guys put them way too low....my preference is about placement of shields and once you commit to the right area make sure you get a second opinion.....

Is there a picture of a 348 that shows exactly where the right place to put them is located?

Got my shields today, not very pleased to say the least. The red is VERY pink and the green doesnt look right either. I am waiting to see if others that purchased from this seller have the same issue. I bought these from a site sponsor, Mccarbon. Anyones imput would be appreciated. Thanks

You are not comparing apples to apples. Those are resin coated stickers (with magnetic backing added)...much different than proper cloisene sheilds, made from metal and fired in a kiln. Get the ones in the first post, from Yoshi, they are awesome.

Sorry guys we had some email problems last week so we did not get notified of the sales of the shields. The shield orders are handled through PayPal and we disabled an old domain the PayPal account was linked to. Luckily, we checked it on Saturday and noticed the sales! All sets ordered went out Monday. My apologies on the delay.

Sean, I will send you another set if you want. The shields are genuine Ferrari product so if the colors are off it’s down to Italian quality. But we have sold over 225 sets in the last few years and we've never had a complaint. Of course the metal ones look nicer but they also cost a lot more and have to go on with double sided tape. These you can move around and take off at any time. We have not had any reports of them coming off at spead.

And I'm the owner of MAcarbon. So thanks for the selfless posting VTC4198!

    Guys,

We never made a claim that ours were metal. I agree that the metal ones look great. There is a cost difference and the metal ones usually need to be permanently attached (I would consider double sided tape effectively permanent). If I had noticed the thread earlier I would have certainly pointed it out.

But if anyone that ordered due to this thread thought they were getting metal ones we'll take them back no questions asked.

    John

Hey, I wasnt expecting metal. I know you will correct the situation. Its not that big of a deal. I plan on buying from you again in the near future as your carbon products look great. I deal in importing also and I know how frustrating it can be dealing with quality issues. Thanks
