Shippig large parts question

Anyone ever ship large automotive items via Greyhound Bus? I was planning to sell my old transmission on Ebay. To save $$ on shipping cost, I'd figure I might try this route. I got the idea from seeing Jessie James do this on Monster Garage. Has anyone done this before?
