    Dear friends, I need your support:

    I´d like to ship a model kit to a very dear friend in the USA.

    Small package, approx. 32/24/16cm-1kg // 12/9/6inch – 32oz.


    Shouldn´t take 2 months or more, therefore airmail, and insured and with tracking.

    I haven´t ship to USA for more than 10 years, I guess.

    At the DHL office they told me it´s more than 60 Euros!

    I was shocked!

    UPS and FedEx are even more expensive.

    Does anybody know an acceptable alternative for this?

    I guess 30-35 Euro would be realistic.


    It´s a general topic for me. There are a lot of items I have on stock, which might be on interest worldwide, but for this shipping costs?

    Doesn’t surprise me at all, shipping is going through the roof these days. Sent a similar small item to Canada recently, about the same price. But please don’t use any of the postal services, without insurance or tracking, your parcel will not arrive (i.e. it is guaranteed to be stolen).
