From Ferrari, this is the standard speech you get during the factory tour. Of course, they are talking about contemporary production, not vintage models from the 80s ...
@ze_shark, once Enzo said (and this is well documented): "You can order your Ferrari in any color you want, as long as it is RED!" Maybe the new 456, 575 are more delivered in other colors than red; but the classical Ferraris are almost in Red and sometimes in Yellow! Go to any Ferari meeting, have a look over the parking ground and you will see 70%-80% is RED ------IN EUROPE-----!!!!! Yes, I`m talking about Europe and not the U.S. market or Asia. When I posted some pics from european meetings in the past here I have always got PM`s (from the US!) asking: Do you have only RED Ferraris in Europe? Just have a look to SoCal and Crystal Cove drive?!?! Only a few f.-cars in Red! Wolfarossa FORZA FERRARI
@@@@Mark, any news from the shirt factory? Have you got the jpeg`s from waldo for the print? Price? Quality? How many do we need? Which size? Are you still serious working on it? Wolfarossa FORZA FERRARI
No he didn't...but he can! Still got them here, 300 dpi! CMYK or RGB I don't mind...just tell me what to deliver, and I deliver! Waldo ForzaRossa.nl
BUMP 3 Hi Mark, thanks a lot for the easter SMS and hope you are well back in *g*island The "bumps" here are exclusive for you buddy Don`t forget the shirts dude Have a great easter & greetings to Debs from Anja & me
I guess we all know how Ferraris started out red. Just in case someone forgot, it was the official colour for Italian cars in pre-WW2 racing. (green for UK, silver for DE, Blue for FR and yellow for BE (not about last one). I've heard that 80% of first time Ferrari buyers get them in red, no idea about over all statistics (I'm in the 20%, Tdf for me). As for the t-shirt, just put an Enzo or F2003GA with an EU flag and a Swiss flag on each side. Should be ok!
good idea but we (thanks Waldo!!!) have aready the poster & shirt designed. Thats the final result and accepted by every one for the offical print of the shirts and anything else regarding the 2004 Rally
Wolfgang: Sorry missed final design :-O ! Very nice by the way. I just wonder why you went for a TR. The answer is probably soemwhere in the thread. ;-) ze_Shark: We do not know the proportion of the production that goes to first time buyer of F-cars. Therefore both statements could be correct. For example 30% of total production is red and of those reds 50% (ie 15% of total) are for first time buyers [which would mean that a little less than 20% of total production is for first timers]. I hope I make sense! Furthermore (and that makes any kind of calcuation impossible) if we take into account the second hand market it could mean that 80% of first time buyers (irrespective of whether buying a new or used car) go for red which gives us absolutely no info on the current production colours... And then what about first time buyers of a new Ferrari but who have previously bought an used one... too many combinations ;-)
Hi Ton & ddemet, why did we go for the TR on the shirt? Mhmmmmm, no clue Maybe there is a TR owner here in the european section who forced Waldo to insert a TR instead of...? Maybe `cause its the most amazing & exciting Ferrari ever built? Mhmmm, realy no clue but I LOVE IT very, very much!!!!!!
