Quick question folks. I've removed one of my rear shocks and found that there are no shims in situ. As such the shock is free to swivel around laterally on its mounting bush - not good I would think ?. So my question is, on reassembly should the shock be held rigidly in place by the shims (got some replacements coming) so that there is no side-to-side movement or is a degree of shock swivel on the mounting bolt normal/desirable ?. Thanks.
You must be talking about #47. Note that Ricambi lists two different sizes. I am using the 2.7 diagram. Not sure if the 5.2 is any different. Yep, thanks, those are the one's. What I don't know is if they wedge the shock "solid" when they're in - i.e not allow any lateral movement or if you can still move it side to side when the shims are in. Any idea ?.
