    which would be the bet shopmanual for my 78 308GTS.
    I see a bunch on ebay but wonder which ones are really any good.

    There is no "shop manual" specifically for a '78 308 -- the best you can do is the 308GT4 WSM + the OM for the '78. Are you sure it's not the (free) '78 OM (sometimes called a "technical manual") that they are selling? Do you have the ebay link?

    I bought a CD that had the GT4 WSM and the 308 OM all on one disk. It's actually very handy and was pretty cheap. I think I paid something like $9.99 or $10.99 for it last year.

    I have been looking for a CD like that but it seems most of them don't cover the 78 308.
    Do you know where you bought yours?

    Does $100.- sound right for a set of CV boots? for a 78 308?
