Hi everyone, As most on this forum, I have been searching for the shop manuals and found many great references, in particular : All Ferraris With this, I was able to get my hands on (all for 1984 model): - owner's manual - parts catalog - workshop manual However, the workshop manual only covers the engine, and not the body. Looking at ICP Ferrari Parts, Workshop, Electrical, Owners, Maintenance Manuals, it seems that the "308/QV/328/Mondial, Workshop Manual, 2 valve models" may cover the rest of the car. Is this correct? If so, does anyone have a pdf of this manual? If not, which manual covers the rest of the car? Thanks! Sly
The '80-'82 cars were the poorest documented in my limited opinion. I use 3 manuals for the first FI cars, mine being an '81; the GT4 Shop Manual, the actual GTB/Si Parts manual and the Mondial 8/QV Shop Manual depending on the actual need. What sort of info are you really looking for?
sly: I HAVE THE SHOP MANUAL FOR MY 81 2VALVE. I"t's nearly useless unless you've been a professional ferrari mechanic and can use it for reference. the how to threads in this forum have been very useful. and there's a huge library of procedures. one of them made my first clutch job painless. cheers, jons
mark is right get the parts manual- great reference for parts location. also a wiring diagram is key- there is one in the owner's manual but print size is too small
Thanks for the replies. I have the parts catalog and the wiring diagrams. I'd like to have info on the torque values on the rest of the car, as I am planning to entirely strip down mine.
Never seen or heard of one. Can you post a pic? That is one of the reasons I use the GT4 Shop Manual. The Monde 8 SM might have them too.
I have a PDF of the 308GT4 Workshop Manual that likely has most of the information on torque values etc. PM me if you are interested.
