david, thanks you are right ,it is hard to sleep recently i have so many ideas i would like to impliment. as far as success , that will only happen if there is SERVICE to our customers! the owner is someone who understands this, and is literally putting his money where his mouth is! lot's of money. our plan is to make this a facility one of the best in the bay area.

Bob, get a shop truck so you can pick up/deliver wheel tire packages. I for one don't mind an overnight turn around to insure client tires aren't being mounted/balanced by Gomer.

Since you are "down south", may i recommend a flat bed (or trailer), with a pick up and delivery service? As you know, most of us exotic owners are lazy and demanding bastages
(Ok, I am speaking mostly for myself and my cars are hardly exotics).
    :)

A LITTLE room? Geez, Bob in addition to squeezing one or two cars into your lil' bitty shop, looks like you could be the new home for the Sharks, Earthquakes AND Sabrecats - at the same time. Maybe throw in the A's for good measure!

Congrats on the new digs! Very nice indeed!!

luke , i am in dialoge with a company to provide this service, but remember cordevale resort is five miles away from the shop, play a round of golf or get some quality eats while your car is " concierged".

I'm so happy for you Bob... seriously you are gonna knock everyone's socks off. I know how you work (luckily I got to see it again yesterday... sorry I put some "drool" on her today whilst staring at her) and with the dedication and attention to detail the Bay Area is going to have one helluva high end place to bring exotics too.

PS James switched the 360CS desktop back over to the Ford GT again. Not sure what that means;)

Bob, time to lock up those exclucivity deals w/ Capristo, Novitec, ect. for Nor- Cal. You have a VERY impressive up and coming operation that NOBODY else has. Not to compile the stress of getting opened, but now is the time to start. You have a lot of space and now is the time to get those aftermarket offerings locked in to pay back the dividends that your space allows...
Who cares if you are in Gilroy, if YOU have it, THEY will come... no matter where you are!
I know that we have only met a few times, but you seem to be one VERY dedicated man and you seem to have a VERY loyal clientel. We met @ Brian's shop (when I had the Gallardo) when you were detailing a red Boxer last year.
Again, all the best in the new venture... KICK ARSE!!!

Bob the truth is I've already driven the GT and as much as my heart says "yes" to buying one, I end up driving the crap out of cars too much and it's not "all that". It looks superb, has some low end torque but just feels pretty slow and typical of most american cars that have torque. I'm not used to "only" 550-600 hp/tq and then having the back end go all over the place. The end result is the car doesn't actually go anywhere fast:( Whatever car I buy next I'm comfy getting black again because I know what you can do;)

If only Sam would hurry up and get some time to do my car lol...
