If anyone needs Fcar servcie, I recomend Karl Troy. At the last minute, and since I had to be in Charleston SC anyway, I drove my Challenge car with the slim hope that just maybe Karl could change the oil, air filter, etc.

Although he was busy, he did so gladly, and even found a problem that needs repair; a slopy rear wheel, not the mention a nail, torn brake cooling duct hose, a stipped brake thread, and a filthy K&N air filiter in need of cleaning.

Karl gets work from all over the country. He not only is a master Lamborghini and Ferrari mechanic, but also an accomplished, and somewhat "crazy racer". Who else would put a Lambo on a dirt track in Tulsa; but an orginal! Chunks of mud and dirt flying as he drifts throgh the corner. You have to see it to believe it.

Karl is THE MAN. Although I swore up-and-down that once I got my 308 manuals, I wouldn't need his services.....I was wrong. Sometimes, experience pays for itself. Karl and I go way back, since 1997 when his brother Martin worked side-by-side with him. That was Charleston's Dynamic Duo.

These days, Karl is almost too busy. But never too busy to help out good customers - every car gets the same level of professional service. I took my 308 in recently for fluids and sticky shifting. I was leaning to shift-fork realignment and a new bushing in the shift linkage. Karl found that I was two quarts low in gearbox oil, added some, and tested everything. My thoughts were gearing me toward major surgery, but Karl finds the root problem and takes care of the real problem for far less time and money. My car was even detailed for free before I picked it up.

That's one of the reasons why practically everyone takes their car to Karl for service. His professionalism and integrity are unmatched. Over the years, I have seen several exotics from all over the eastern seaboard in his shop - they come in under their own power, they're trucked/flat-bedded in, etc. Even from states with Factory-Authorized dealership service available. That should tell you something....
