Hi just a quick report, my RH fans went dead and temp start to go up when I stop at the light so had to call my mechanics. They wired up directly with spare battery and both fan actually works so it pointed to the wiring that runs below. It turns out to be that there was short circuit that lead to the fuse box as well and now they are trying to see if they can safe the box. Will let you know how it goes, wish me luck cheers P.
Not as bad as I expected it to be. Turned out that harness that runs below need to be re-wired (re-wrapped etc) and also the connection with the fuse box became loose (from years of vibration, I guess) so now she is back to normal and runs a bit smoother in my opinion too cheers P.
Check the threads here on alternative SPAL fans you can use that have lower current draw. The oem fans appear to be right at the maximum the fuse box can handle, and melt down can happen. The change out is easy, and inexpensive.
Im working on a customer 355 with the same problem with the fans.I have to fix the fuse box due to a bad left fan. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
