    We're going to be in Phoenix for a day and half. Was thinking about seeing Taliesin West but that tour only takes an hour. Any other suggestions for things to do for a day. Botanical gardens, hikes, maybe some cool car or airplane stuff? Thx.

    Went there with my wife two weeks ago. I was a bit ho-hum about looking at desert plants. Boy was I wrong! Most of the species are well marked with a brief description, I read them all and took a lot of pics. We spent almost three hours there on the trails soaking it all up. Gave me a lot of great ideas as to what to plant at my home. Also at that location is the adjacent zoo and hiking.
