I need a car in Newport, RI area for 6-month. Any suggestions? I don't think dealerships normally offer 6-month lease (unless it's a crazy price), so I wanted to see if you guys have any suggestions.

It's a car for someone at my work who'll be in the area for 6 months only. It can be anything (Kia, Hyundai, etc.), as long as it is clean and in a good shape.

    Thank guys!

Agreed, that is the best way to do it. You will probably end up paying less this way if you reasearch the car you want.

You may be able to a dealer willing to lease a newer car still in warranty. I have some friends who would do a 3 month lease each summer to get them to and from the Hamptons. As I remember, the cost was not bad.

I totally forgot about that. Those are nice options as well. All really depends on the car you want. Good luck either way.
