Does anyone make a shorter shift lever for the 308's , it seems both a bit high, and the throw could be a bit shorter too. Or do owners just cut it shorter and re-thread the shifter stock??

With the general clunkiness of the 308 gearbox, I would think you need all the leverage you can get! ;)

I believe the early 308s have a shorter, angled shift lever, versus the later ones.

    You could just get a 77... :)

The earlier shift lever assemblies with shorter stalks will drop right into all the 308's. Here's Ric Rainbolt's QV with a GT4 shifter.

Humm, after being use to Hurst Shifters, I think I will try an early one, I leave size out of this...lol Got a clue what it takes to change the shift lever, or is it an assembly from Rutlands? My reverse lock out dosent work anyway.
