So if Massa can help Alonso at Monza should he even if it violates the ban on team orders rule that is still in effect?

Why not? The worst that can happen is the FIA will investigate whether or not the fines they've paid constitutes a breach of the budget cap...

If they're in a position to win at Monza I don't think they'll risk that under any circumstances.

It all depends on whether or not Massa is on board.

With all of the rumors flying around that Ferrari contacted Webber and Kubica prior to Massa and were turned down, Massa must feel pretty unappreciated.

Yes, of course. Ferrari should do everything they can to get the best possible results. What's a $100 million fine among friends? :)

Yes, they should. And the order should be: "Win the Goddam race for chrissakes!" Let's channel a little spirit of Enzo here. Not this "Eh, we're giving up on this season so next year will be more special" crap.

You're damn right they should use team orders...they need to get fired up and do everything in their power to finish this season strong!!!! And this definitely doesn't mean "look to next season"!!!! Crazy bastardz!

I think Ferrari should serve Massa a bottle of Sake in the cockpit on the grid, give him a rising sun helmet, and let him go to work on some of these non-RED SOB's holding higher point tallys.

Domenicali: "Rubbin' is racin', Felipe. Go get em'........"

Maybe Ferrari should concentrate on building a car that can finish consistantly in the top 3 before they worry about team orders or who will pass who on the team. Do any of you really think they have a car that can win the season? They dont, so let them race and who knows maybe Alonso well learn something.

Gotta agree with Gerry on the car, but moving forward, eliminate team orders.

    Absolutely!

    Here are the team orders:

'You both go balls to the wall, and whoever is faster finishes further ahead'

If i was Massa, i'd ignore every team order this weekend, and the remainder of the season, then jump ship to Renault next season.

I wonder if Massa could work an early payout like Kimi.

Hell, Kimi will make the exact same amount of money in 2010 as Lewis Hamilton (16 million euros).

While he is tooling around in a rally car . . .

Save the hassle mate. Disobey team orders, get the win, smack Stefano on the face and bolt. I think Massa's market value would probably increase after that.. :D

    Yes.

Since Alonso is likely to make yet another pathetic mistake and throw away another bin load of points better let Massa past him at the earliest opportunity.
