Should have bought one sooner!

My name is Ian, im from Connecticut
But living and working in Vermont for the time being.

Ive always loved german cars, bought a great condition 11/1995 BMW 530i with the 5 speed for my first car. I actually still have it, still drive it, and still cut my hands working on it.
Got a Mini Cooper S when I was 18, and looked at an '88 911 with 45k miles on it...looking back now I shoulda jumped on it! though my insurance would be a hell of alot higher than it is already
Finally, just as I moved north to Vermont I bought a 2011 TRD Tacoma...lifted it(etc) it was pretty dumb beating on an almost $40k truck within the first year of owning it, but Vermont has some really great trails! insurance company wasnt too happy with me so its now my winter vehicle.

I sit here looking at how much ive spent in the past 9 years, and really wish I had bought an older Mondial or 308!
Its always been my dream to own an older Italian sports car. I remember seeing a 308, 365 GTC/4 and a Miura driving around when I was younger. had the Countach poster and Ferrari models too!

This site is great, ive read up on 308/Mondials, DIY, and other threads. gained a ton of knowledge and Im definetly looking at buying one of these reasonably priced F-cars within the next few years and holding onto it for a long time.
