Make sure your oil isn't overfilled, but I am hard pressed to even consider that gauge as anything more than a decoration. These senders are known to fail or read erratically.

I agree with redneck however, I would get it checked. If it is reading correctly and oil is proper fill level, you have a problem that is likely to get more expensive with use.

I've never seen mine do that.

I would definitely have it checked by the dealer or knowledgeable indi Ferrari mechanic. $200.00 diagnostic fee is worth it for peace of mind in my opinion.

Mine does the same, it's the sender going bad. Mine will work right one drive, then the next be at max pressure and then all over the place.

Typically oil pressure should drop after oil is at operating temperature, your oil temp shows what I would precieve normal.

Oil pressure within the engine is determined by oil volume pumping through mechanical interference or your crank/cam journals and bearings...when the oil is cold viscosity is high or thicker thus causing higher pressure readings when starting cold as the oil is get's warmer the oil thins out which lowers the oil pressure.

Oil volume is a factor however I would expect a overfilled condition To cause issues with crankcase vapor control which typically shows oil accumulation in air cleaner housings.

IMOP you may have a sender issue....best way is to measure your oil pressure with a gage where the sender resides and compare with your electrical reading.

    Good Luck..!

Probably the sender. No cause for alarm and not due to overfill. For peace of mind, check the oil level as per manual.
