Thing is...I am 19 years old.
I am very mature, not your average 19 year old...I run my own business together with my older brother, I make my own money...I payed all of my cars myself.....but I just dont like the picture of me driving a ferrari at this young age...
I dont want one because I want to pose...I want it because I love the sound, and the driving enjoyment the car gives me, like my alfa.

What do you guys think? And if yes...what Ferrari would you begin with? 348? 355 ?

You can do a search on the pros and cons, i.e ecstasy(s) and agony(s) of ownership of each and see whether you're up to it. If you're fine with it...I say...355. You seem to have the right reason to wanting one, however be considerate on the road and drive safe. Good Luck!

Keep in mind that I have alot of experience with cars alot faster than ferrari´s. So speeding etc...is not a issue, I get tons of speed at work, dont need to get it on the roads. Just want that special feeling I get when I drive a Ferrari...

Sure, what the heck. If it doesn't work out, you can always sell it.

If you're worried about the 'pose' factor, just don't buy a red one. Get a blue or silver or something low key.

Or you can say FTW and get a screaming yellow zonker and do the whole playboy thing. Money at 20 has it's advantages

And if you get hit by a bus next year crossing a road and get killed you will have never had the experience of owning and driving one............it's your call. Would you rather drive a Volvo ?

Buy whatever you think will resell fast and you'll get your money back out of if you don't like it or tire of it in a year or so.

Oh.....and check out the Swedish nightclub thread if you haven't already......I still can't believe those girls are all for real....LOL !!!

Of course you should get a Ferrari. There is never a reason not too. Reasons for not getting one are only temporary , like your wife says no. NO=DIVORCE and you get one anyway! You do not have that road block, so GO FOR IT!
Do not let your age factor into it, if you got the $ then do not deny yourself. As long as it makes sense to you, why not.
The 348 Spider's and the 355's are great picks.

Do you own your home, as in paid off? How is your IRA and retirement accounts going? How about investing in your education given your age you certainly do not have your BS or MBA.

A Ferrari is a depreciating toy, which should only be considered after all of your appreciating assets are fully financed and you have money left over. I'd much rather hear you investing $50,000+ into your retirement account so that your future is secure and you give your nest egg 43 years to compound interest.

If someone hands you a $3,000,000 signing bonus and offers to pay you $5,000,000 a year to bouce a ball at 19 that is one thing, but to have a Ferrari be your primary asset is not a wise decision IMO.

With all do respect, you haven't provided enough information on your situation and what you can afford....... That's what would be needed to give you an honest opinion........ It would be easy to say "Go for it, you only live once" but the fiscally responsible person inside me says you've got time on your side and re-look at this in a few years.

go to racing school, learn to drive first. buy a kart and go racing. you can get in over your head in an unbelievable way amazingly quickly. the first time you are looking at a road sideways shouldnt be in your new car.

If you can afford a Ferrari at 19, I suggest buying a house first.

    Parham from bf.c correct?

I'm not sure what your financial situation is, but unless you have a house, have paid for your education and have some substaintial investments there are better places to spend your money.

It is true you can buy one, drive it around for a year or so and sell it and probably not take much of a hit. But the oppertunity cost of that money is important at your age. There are many ways to invest in your future that probably make more sense.

I also don't know what the insurance is like in your country but in the U.S. most insurers would probably laugh at you, then demand huge sums of money.

I figure you have got your alfa, and I believe you and your brother have some pretty insane drag cars. So I'd be happy with those for now and keep the money for other things.

But hey, it sure would be fun.

who cares what everyone else thinks. if you can afford it, and at the same time still have enough money to eat, have a roof over your head (the roof of the car can count too), and not lose everything you have go for it.

the second I can afford one and meet the above criteria im not hesitating.

money is just money, and as others have said, if you get into a problem with money you can always sell the car.

Yes I do have a apartment, with my private garage. I have never bought anything in my life with a loan...I worked and did the right choices. But I do appreciate ANY business/investing/work tips I can get from the guys here on Fchat that has been around the block for a long time. Well the Ferrari isn´t my primary asset...that´s having food 6 times a day, gasoline expenses, etc...
