While you probably shouldn't be taking advise from an internet chat group :) ..... I LOVE rosso Monza and the deeper shades of red. By the way, I like everything about your spec except the black piping. I think it will stand out too much against the crema. You want the beauty of the interior to speak for itself, not scream "look at me!". If you want a black detail to stand out, I would do the black straps o the daytona style seats instead of the piping.

My first 599 was in Rosso Scuderia and I came to much regret the colour. It is very dated. I would vote any red except Scuderia. It screams 2004 CS

Any ideas on Alcantara interior? I have never seen any alcantara interior on 599.

Rosso Monza looks great, but it is a very expensive option, will delay delivery significantly, and can only be repaired back at the factory............

please dont change the color. As stated already, the Mozza color looks way to dated. It also has horrible resale.

I would keep everything you have except change the calipers to Yellow instead of red.

No, the previous posters said SCUDERIA was dated, not Monza.

I just love Scuderia but why does so many feel it is dated?

Well I for one don't feel Rosso Scuderia is dated at all, it's a gorgeous color, however I like it best on an F430, with a black interior (and yellow calipers). I don't really think it looks good with a Crema interior.

Are you sure you would want to live with a Crema interior? It's so light and hard to keep clean. Dark interior colors are so much more user friendly!

Personally I think the 599 looks a lot better in darker colors than in light colors like Scuderia - Silverstone with a burgundy interior for example is absolutely stunning!

+1. Think of all the tyres you can buy for the price of the paint

It is most definitely expensive, and it sounds perfectly plausible that it could delay production, but what is your source for the claim that it can only be repaired back at the factory ? "Heard it somewhere" ? I find it extremely difficult to believe that a modern repair shop wouldn't be able to match the color -- no doubt it would be time-consuming and more expensive than a regular metallic paint, but not impossible. It is the same basic type of paint as the Maserati Bianco Fuji color, and I've not heard the same claim about the irrepairibility of that color.

Personally I think the whole "has to be repaired back at the factory" is an apocryphal tale. If it is a true claim then I won't be ordering the color when my turn comes, but if it is not true then I'm definitely going Rosso Monza -- I think the color looks stunning!!

I bought a 05 612 this year, it is a special order paint color off a maserati. Beardeaux Ponteveci....its the best color I have ever seen. I was in the market for a Silver or Grey but the color is out of this world. Its very similar to the new dark red that ferrari introduced I think it close to the rubinio, but even more metallic.

Once I figure out how to post pics I will show you some.

Here you go Bordeaux Pontevicini....none like it! With Couio interior...and Tubi's. I will change the wheels soon to the polished modulars as with the HGTC pack.

That 612 oozes class and good taste.

IMO you should go for a deeper metallic red. Be different, have the class that others do not.

With regard to the paint repair, if that is true then I find it ridiculous

I owned a 550 Rosso Monza, would have preferred a bit less purple in the color. Currently have a 430 Rosso Rubino, very, very, nice color.

Scuderia red is a rather aggressive color that suits fine f430, I would strongly vote for rosso monza.
    Much classy !
