    The label only reads:
    Champagne Blanc de Blancs 1966
    Krug & Co. Reims

    Open it?

    open it, best scenario it's worth about 50 bucks, worst case about 10.00 bucks.........from what I could find out.

    Depends on how it was stored. It may taste sh*tty couple of minutes after the air gets to it.

    Maybe for new years, the bottle was on the side in the cupboard so my parents probably left it there and forgot? Here in the Bay Area temps don't really swing that much, so hopefully it's still "good". I don't know how 40 year old champange is supposed to taste like though.
