If you want another opinion watch on YouTube the Top Gear episode with Jeremy Clarkson's review of the G Spider -really hilarious! I own an '08 F430 black spider and while the Lambo looks edgier it just doesn't handle as well as the Ferrari. If looks is what you want - go for it but if it's the driving experience as a whole it's hard to compete with a F430.

Dave, what's the serial number of your F430? Is it an F1 or a manual? I drove an '04 base model Gallardo (coupe) with a stick and it was loads of fun. Honestly, I can't see moving from an F430 Spider to a Gallardo Spider, but everyone is different. What's the appeal for you? Is it just to have something different? The experience? Is there a downside to the F430 that seems to be absent with the Gallardo?

I'm actually thinking of doing the same thing. I have a red 360 coupe and have been looking at a Gallardo. I know the 360's performance is dated vs the 430 and the Gallardo but theres something about the 360 I love. Decissions decissions!! Not sure what to do.

I've owned a 05 g and a 08 sl. The sl handled much better then my 07 430 spider. It was faster then the f car and sounded better. The sl had a poor heavy gear box that was not nice as nice as the fcar. I'll own another but only the next generation. Once again the front end floats above 150 and feels soft. The 08 superleggera is just starting to happen at 150 mph and is fuc.ing solid:)

The G looks so outdated, and too many young "big shot" trying to showing off with their vintage G in my area...........i blame the $90k vintage G market.

Around here the Gallardo owners tend to be a younger, flashier lot.
