It's a secret club, you have to send him a private message The lateral panel kit is knurled nut replacement fasteners for the engine bay side panels. It allows you to access the battery terminal with no tools.
You didn't happen to park it around Norfolk in 2011/2012 did you... I think I have seen this car, and if it was the same one, you're the one responsible for me being unable to not buy my own 355. LOL. If it is in fact the Yellow 355 GTB that I saw in Norfolk, well played... beautiful car!
Loved the Gallardo, but the new Z06 kept calling my name. 650hp sounds nice. Ordered one LAST February, was finally built last week, should have it in 2 weeks...
Brendan, this is really a pretty easy one. Let me think, you like cycling and you're going to buy a boat. Are you telling us that you enjoy cycling and boating more than driving your F355? If so, that answers it. My guess, however, is that you really love your F355 and simply have not found a way TO MAKE THE TIME to drive it. If that is the case, forget the boat and whenever you think about taking to your bike take, instead, to your Ferrari. It will bring you the immeasurable pleasure that Ferraris are all about: driving. For after all, you bought the bloody car to drive. just my 2c
I hadn't read Robb's post when I wrote my last. His is the best combined advice. You're clearly a car lover, but three Bimmers? I've bought two at Munich, an 1800ti in 1965 and a top-of-the-line 2800 in 1970. Great cars especiially for their time. But to sell an F355 to keep three Bimmers? not on my watch.
Yes, I agree wholeheartedly with Seth. I love BMW, but since my first car back in '86 have not bought another. I still want an M car. I've been to the factory and museum twice in Munich. Pick the one BMW that does it ALL for you and keep the F-car. Unless you sell all of your cars and buy the i8... That one could be epic. Robb
What you need to do is buy a Spider and a GTS and have all 3. Take it from me, not only am I the world's biggest 355 fan but I am also a psychological therapist and will tell you that the fact that you asked your question to the forum indicates that you will experience cognitive dissonance after selling your car. In other words you have already answered your own question. You do not want to sell this car.
I have. A 355 GTS can you advise me professionally ??? I want to buy another 355 but my wife is treating Divorce!! Do you know a good lawyer?? LOL Mike in NJ
Sounds like it's time for someone else to enjoy the car, you can always get another if you get the itch down the road, (that will be a really well sorted car for someone), I hope it stays in the area, it would be nice to see it out and about.
The thoughts of selling may actually be mistaken for intrusive thoughts, which we all know should never be acted upon
DO NOT SELL BMWS DO NOT SELL FERRARI DO SELL BOAT You know the saying? Second best day in the life of a boat owner: the day you buy. Best day? The day you sell! Seriously- you put a lot into this car and you won't be able to replicate it. SO- if you absolutely positively need the money, then maybe you should consider selling one/two of the cars. My advice is pare down one of the other obligations. I can tell you love cars and you are a real car nut. Don't sell - unless you must.
Well a year later and I decided to list it http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferraris/521586-f355-gtb-manual-%2Apedigree-serviced-full-history%2A.html
Hey Brendan -- Having owned your car in the past, i can tell you i regretted the day i sold her. I have since bought another F355B. You have made the car much much better than when you go it. Replacing it will not be easy. I wish i was still in the market but with my 1995, i think i am set for now.
