Should motorcycle racing threads be allowed in this section?

I said no. If someone wants to talk about motorcycle racing, I think they should go to the "Off Topic" area where the cars/motorcyles/etc are. This racing section, imo, is just for Ferraris racing and their competitors. So ALMS, LeMans 24 hours, F1, other series with Ferraris, etc. I guess one thread about a main event like the Indy and Daytona 500s are okay. They're considered as big events as Monaco and have a lot of race history. Motorcycles, eh...I don't see how it relates to it. Track days with Ferraris is fine with me, too.

 

Only if Ferrari gets into motorcycle racing themselves!

Otherwise, why stop at motorcycles? Boats, planes, trucks all race legitimately as well; at one time there was even a Ferrari-powered hydroplane!

 

I agree, but if there ends up too many threads on say Motogp or Wsb Bsb etc.., then start another section for alternative racing

 

Ferrari's next winning driver is curently a Motogp Pilot.
We are doing you car only guys a favor by keeping you up to date on his progress on the two wheel racing circut.

BTW, did you see his last win this weekend on speed?
The top three finished with a second of each other, and the top 5 were within 3 seconds.
If only F1 was as close...............

When will people stop deluding themselves than Rossi will go to F1? He won't. He said he won't. End of story.

Ok, the users on FChat have spoken and so have the mods and the answer is, that motor cycle racing is ok in the racing forum. As long as it doesn't dominate, which given the figures of this poll there is not much of a risk.

A victory for MotoGP, Rossi, Kizdan and others. I bow my head and won't interfere with MotoGP discussions any longer.

 

I'm under the impression that most are in here because of their interest in racing, which tends to not be exclusively linked to Ferrari.

allow it...many of us are racers. racers, not just car racers and not just ferrari racers.
