    Good post.

Maybe the rosso corsa craze began when Ferrari began shifting from building tourers to sports cars for the road, encouraging our racer fantasies.

    I disagree.

I haven't met anyone who said (at least not to my face) that they don't like my 308GTB in silver.

Truth is, most Ferraris look fantastic in red, even if some (like me) have chosen a "different" color.

I don't think Testarossas have to be red, but they sure do look good red. . . And so do a lot of other 12 cylinder Ferraris.

No exotic car should not be red.

Sorry, forgot the smiley faces.

Knew some of that (the cam covers part) and Thanx for the education on the rest.

I was playing on the term "Testarossa / Red Head" as in "Female w/red hair (good looking)" as opposed to "cam covers."

Sorry, as sometimes jokes just do not come across well on the I-net.

no problem - on the red-hair-good looking part, the reason I think I married a red-head was from seeing the album cover for the Cars "Candy-O" and having it embedded in my subconscious at age 16 - the Vargas image has the red-head sprawled on the hood of a Ferrari 365 GTC/4 for those that might be interested in this bit of Ferrari trivia.
