I've been thinking whether it might actually be a great idea for Ferrari to agree to the V8 compromise proposed by FIA - after all, Ferrari has no road cars with a V10, but V8 technologies and engineering developments might be easier translated to a road car (I'm not a mech engineer, but from what I've read it seems V10's have different balances and such than an 8).

Is it possible that this could be a win-win for Ferrari? Either continue obliterating with the V10's or create the ultimate V8's, which would benefit all of the GT consumers... Although many will argue they already make the ultimate V8.
