Should you be less passionate about your Fcar or Fcars in general because of a local or national tragedy? Or should you appreciate Fcars that much more because of it?

Should I keep answering random questions?

No, local or national tragedies don't affect my hobbies and interests.

IMO, there is no correlation unless you are willing to sell your car and donate all the proceeds of the sale to charity.

I really dont see the relationship that you imply exists. A love and a passion is something inside that really cant be changed. What happened is awful and terrible, but it wouldnt change how I feel about baseball or hockey. On the same token it wont change how I feel about cars. I am greatful and thankful for what I have, but because someone else lost what they have doesnt mean my attitude will change about what I have. Does that make me vain, I dont think so. Are you supposed to ditch your wife because your best friend got a divorce, obviously not. Agree or not thats just my opinion.

Should people stop appreciating beauty & art because something bad happened ? Should we close art museums & stop teaching art when bad things happen ? No

I think it is unrelated issues here.
Some people who are passionate about their hobbies face national disaster first hand but still go about their normal life once recovered.
I guess it depends on how passionate you are!

I don't really think that a relationship exists either. However, during several threads discussing Fcars, such as "Are Fcars just cars", numerous people hijacked the thread with arguments of hurricane Katrina etc. I wasn't making the connection, but wanted to stimulate some specific conversation on it, because I don't think it's logical.

No. Should we change our diet, or our hygiene patterns for same? Our careers, our feelings about family? No. Life goes on. Enjoy your sackcloth and ashes to the fullest though.
