the 355 has been replaced twice now. the 456 is pretty long in the tooth. even the 550 is over 10 years old. shouldn't we move these threads over to the "Classic" group now? just a thought.

No, better yet, why don't we make a "355 only" category as it seems to be one of the more popular models?

I suggets we add a "Current Models" Category.

Keep modern as it is. Until current models go out of production...

Leave it as is. The 355 and 456 are modern to my eye and most people's standards.

I agree with this idea. Come on a car that has been out of production for 2 models is not current.

So if we should not move the 355 and 456 into the "classic" category now, then when should we? Then we could use this rule to eventually move the 360, the 430, etc.

I guess the name of the forum is that important? What this will really screw up is the search routine for using the archives. I would guess that someone would have to go through the threads manually to discern which threads belowng in the 360 category and which for the 355.

    Tough road to hoe.

1995 car is still 'modern' in my eyes. Can't get classic car insurance for it, so here it stays.

The lines of both are modern too.

maybe we just remove the "Modern" label in the category then. i'm sorry, but (respectfully) i disagree that a 10+ year old car can be considered "modern." it just feels really odd to keep looking at "modern" and those 'ancient' model numbers next to it. sorry, just my two cents, of course.

The 355 and 348 are 80% the same car. They need to be grouped together.

The 456 and the 550 are very closely related as well. They should also be kept together (and the last 456s were made only 3 years ago). Many issues are common to the two cars.
