Hey all! I'm a Connecticut car enthusiast and the faculty supervisor for a local high school automotive club. Basically, it's a way for students who are interested in cars/machines in general to get hands-on experience in a school district that doesn't have an organized auto shop program. Well, on June 1st, we are hosting our 2nd Annual Car Show. The event will serve to help support the club, which is currently in the process of repairing and restoring a Datsun Z-car. There will be food and beverages for sale, and last year we had a great showing: 80 cars total, including five Porsches, a Ferrari 458 Italia, an original Mini Cooper, a Triumph TR6, and plenty of muscle cars. All "vehicles of interest" (cars, bikes, trucks... whatever) are welcome, and, of course, I would love to see plenty of Italian metal show up. Here's the relevant information: Where: the back parking lot of Avon High School, 510 West Avon Road, Avon, CT When: June 1, 6-8 PM. What: Plenty of cars, food, LIVE MUSIC, and for a great cause (in my opinion). Please consider stopping by! It would be great to meet some New England Ferrari drivers in person! -CJ
