Ten full inches with the wheelbase! That's 92.3" versus 102.3"! Mostly the result of the longitudinal orientation of the engine and transmission, of course. What gets my full attention is the width of the 360. I can just toss the 308 into the garage, I have only about 3-4" clearance from the mirrors with the 360!
I think my garage is too humble to share... it's more of a storage unit than an impressive showroom. But what the heck. At least it's large enough to give me plenty of room to work. And it has a Ferrari in it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not my car, nor garage. Actually not even a real car. But this is cool. /Peter http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-hampshire-18001779 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks - I like that spin on it. I bought this place from my cousins when my aunt passed away, and she'd installed all those storage cabinets and metal shelves. If they weren't there, I could easily get my DD in there too... but they're so practical for storing our extra things, tools, spare parts. So as it is - room to have the car on jacks, tools and parts all over the place, and still have plenty of space to walk around the car or be under it (and have the garage door shut.) When she had the living room redone in hardwood, she put the old carpet in the garage... it covered 70% of the floor. Weird, but quite comfy to work on. I finally removed the carpet after The Great Coolant Leak of August 2017. One day I'll get the concrete properly painted and sealed (ed note: surrrrre you will.) Our neighbors thing we are insane. ...we have some very astute neighbors That crusty white stuff is water in the incorrect phase. Can you believe I had the red car out yesterday? It was almost 60deg! Sigh... Franny Image Unavailable, Please Login

After a several years of planning and construction, I finally have my Garage Mahal. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks. I am proud of how it all turned out. Lights were on clearance at Ikea; $10 each including a 440 lm LED bulb. Bought 30 and put them on a 4'x6' grid. Like them a lot. Carpet; don't complement it in front of my wife. She thinks a carpet in a garage is dumb. It 100% genuine polyester bought on impulse at Costco for $160. Wall color - Ferrari Factory brownish reddish orangeish color is the point of greatest marital discord; she is beginning to think I am color blind. She wants me to repaint the wall grey! (Yuck.)
My place. Each with enough space to work. But, there is a wall between the garages which means that the tool you need will ALWAYS be in the other one. Apart from that, works great. /Peter Image Unavailable, Please Login
I was driving my 308 a week ago, running errands and visiting friends, temp was +5C on Dec 17! Snow arrived the next day, the 308 got tucked in on top of the lift as I was taking delivery of the new garage inhabitant... a 2017 Mazda MX-5 RF. Thanks! Kind of looks like my 458 gave birth to a Cinquecento huh? Lol That little car get more attention than either of my Fcars. It’s a blast to drive. As long as you’re not in a hurry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Agree on the light. You can never have too much light. In the planning stage when you think it is enough. Double it. This looks good to me and I really wish it was like this in my garage. /Peter
