Recently having become a subscribed member and having what I thought was an extensive GV collection, models, books, posters, magazines, ect.
I have not even received views on my Ferrari Ads.com ads.
I have only placed books for sale, but it is the tip of the iceberg of my collection.
I feel that my prices were fair after market research and finding rare examples in Europe that would have to be shipped to the USA.
Please can members show pictures of their GV memorabilia collections.
I would prefer to sell my whole collection as one item and would like to see in comparison what others may have.
Also I have the 126C2 kits in various scales and the plastic has become brittle, which has discouraged me, have any others experienced this aging phenomenon?
    Thank you in advance

You want to touch base with our bernardo66.
I sent him a PM to join us here....

He has an extensive collection and is familiar with the JV museum.

Thanks for starting the thread discussion tho, as sometimes a wonderful ad gets missed, without some discussion in the main Threads.
You might also contact Le art L'automoblie, here in Texas to place them into the next auction???

Or T.E. Warth Esq., one of the out of print book sellers.

As to the aging models, I'll only share a quick story.

I purchased a collection of 1:43 GV cars, from an estate.

They all arrived safely, save one, it had come loose in shipping and was smashed into bits.

Just like JV himself might have done, back in the day.
I should have kept it and displayed it that way, in a diorama.....

Mory I have been to your store in the past and have even purchased a few of your items. Your collection is just beyond the wildest dreams of most of us.
I too would love to see what GV27TIFOSI has.
My Collection consists of scale models in various scales( 1:12 and 1:20 kits mostly unbuilt yet and die casts from 1:18 to 1:43 ), books (all the books I am aware of in every language printed), photos (about 150 8x12", and many smaller ones) , 35mm slides (150 or so that atre copyrighted to me), autographs, posters, replica helmet, race worn ballaclava (yes Mory the one I bought from you :) ) postcards, trading cards stickers and other stuff.

A while ago I had a large collection of vintage Tamiya radio controlled kits.
I sold most of them but still have an original new built Ferrari T3.
The car is from 1979. I had a similar one when I was 12 and drove the wheels off it.
It's an 1/10th scale car with a hard plastic body. The pictures don't too it justice, it really looks nice.
Tamiya also made a 1/20th scale plastic model of the T3 and a 1/12th version of the T4.
Theay also had a pit team in 1/20th scale with a driver that was modelled after Gilles.

What became of the Italian gent in the Giles Villeneuve video, whose whole apartment was a shrine to GV?? I must look at my DVD rip of my VHS to get his name, but those here will know his name.
The Giacobazzi collection is incredible of course as his family was a major sponsor of GV.
The website appears to be down of the GV museum in Canada, is it still in operation?
I have to catalog my collection and will respond about my models as well.
As I mentioned in the Ferrari Ads, my, what I consider rare GV books have had no views, ect.
I have an incredible collection of Grand Prix International magazines that I collected in England for the 1981-82 GP seasons, plus Autosports and Motoring News and Motor Sport as well.
Such as the 1978 Motor Sport issue featuring GV's first win at home in Montreal.
I have to dig for all these having recently moved, thanks to our wonderful economy (not by choice).
Great info thanks to all who are contributing and still many memories and strong emotions for this incredible individual, who really was in my estimation comparable to a Nuvolari of our generation.

    Surely many others do not?
Located the box with my Autosport magazine collection 1980-1982, and the Grand Prix International magazines, which are better for the color pictures.
The Nigel Roebuck support for Gilles was a huge factor in increasing his popularity during the Ferrari years.
