That looks like it could tackle some good sized waves.
One time Steven took to the bow of his 104 footer and told me that all the boats in Paradise Island were just candy for the huge waves that would fly way over their bows. He told me that he was going to build a larger research freighter yacht. Construction in Canada went a little slow because the Chinese were buying up all the steel. Ultimately it was built and he traveled afar. The waves never held him back.

A buddy brought his drone to lunch and took a vid of the boat yesterday! Video of the boat (black canvas) in Huntington Harbor yesterday before taking off to lunch in Alamitos Bay down the roar. Nice day out there! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYMqmZUTt_8&feature=youtu.be

Hi, I just found this thread. Some of you are serious boaters, amazing vessels. Were I live we can't have anything like this. So here is my little boat which in my town is one of the big ones, . No kidding!! Cadorette Holiday 250. Aft cabin cruiser. Mercruiser 260hp 5.7liter GM with Bravo II sterndrive. First pic is at the city dock on the LaSarre river(also called white fish) with my Dad watching what we are doing ;-) Leaving on the river toward Lake Abitibi which is over a 100km long with around 1000 islands. Hard to navigate lake because it is not deep and has a lot of rocks close to the surface but hidden. Last pic is on the Dagenais river from lake Abitibi in the village of Palmarolle near the local dock. I'm winterizing my boat this week-end :-( I love old wood boats, my dream would be something like the Whiticar Éleganté on lake Abitibi. It would be the absolute king of the place. Don't like the look of that at all, but for those dollars.........................I am sure it's something very special!
copasetic is docked about 600yds from my house. I've not been on it but know people that have. I guess it's set up for research and I think is available for charter. Don't know the price but I'm going to guess $110-150K week.
I got the Grady..and broke the rule,I went smaller(didn't need all that much boat). And now I see why others are described as just as good as a Grady(they wish). Real pleased, sweet ride, goes good..will see soon if fish like it,I know dogs and kids will. Cheers, RE Image Unavailable, Please Login
