Came across this Hinckley Picnic boat in the harbor while vacationing in Newport, RI this week. Had a chance to chat with the owner. Seemed like a real great guy with lots of passion for his boat. I love the craftsmanship and the lines on these boats. They are so elegant and hope to own one someday. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Could be ! I've been out of the game for a while. The humps below the canopy remind me of MTI but the bow does look Skater
I don't live on a lake!!! is the biggest reason. . Although we are working on that. We are looking at a home on Lake Winnebago, so if that happens then will definitely go for one.
That would be quite nice!! Was also thinking this would be fun to run around in: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1956-ted-jones-22-racing-hydroplane/
Nope. Look closer. You posted a shot of a late '80's Aquarama Special. PERLITA TOO is a 1953 Tritone; the first Tritone; the first Riva sold outside of Italy, and the first Riva delivered to the US, to Hollywood producer Roland Reed. I have a solid documented 70 year history, from her initial order letter, to sweeping the Tahoe show.
I stand corrected. I should have known better to question someone with the username "tritone". I was out on the water watching the parade. I heard the announcer announce the best of show and the Aquarama came spitting out. The Tritone must have been behind it. Bravo on the correction and knowing your stuff.[emoji1360][emoji1360]
