Designing the garage before the actual house... you are a true enthusiast. Nice new house Rob. How would the neighboors feel about a few rx 7 race cars being parked on the lawn ?That house wouldnt be worth as much in westchester as it would in LA, but it would still go for over a mil. these days (which is why im moving 15 miles north in 2 years).
Great thing about Texas is the low cost of living and housing. It is in a premium area though because it has top rated public schools and it's one of the few places in DFW you can get a house with 1+ acres close to anything. DFW airport is only 3 miles away. If the wind is right, the jets fly over about 3-5k feet. Jordan, had a 747 fly over yesterday. Jennie works close to downtown Dallas and is a 25-30 minute commute. I work by Texas stadium in Irving, which is 20-25 minutes. Fort Worth is about 30 minutes, so it's pretty central to everything. Coming from a 800 square foot run down house with no garage has been quite a shock. Biggest headache is trying to find stuff, other day took me 15 minutes to find my glasses walking room to room.
posted some before in another thread, but here we are again http://www.superbowlmansion.com/images/photos/index.htm
Wow!! Love that last one!! Anymore details on the house? SuperBowl mansion? What name is that? Very beautiful floors. Where did you dig that from?
