Hello all. I think I may have gotten in over my head here, and would love some advice. I've never shown my '86 Mondial 3.2 Cab before, and I thought it would be fun to go to the Geneva Concours this summer. So I sent in my registration form and pictures already, and I was informed that my car was accepted as an entry to be judged. I was just hoping to park with the FCA guys, but apparently that parking area isn't judged and my car will be in the center area of the show. So now I'm all nervous about having my car judged. I've read some good stuff on how to prep the car for the show, but nothing about how to show it. Should I arrange my books, tools, and literature nicely in the rear boot and then open it to display it to the judges, or do I need to keep them out all day? Can the top be down, or does it need to be up? Can I leave the car (with the loose bits locked in the boot) and go see the rest of the show when its not being judged? Never having shown a car before I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew. Help!

Might want to also post this in the Chicago section. Someone involved with the Geneve Concours posts there from time to time (sorry - cannot remember who). Can't answer your question myself, but hope to see your Mondial there if I'm still in the area!

Check the FCA Central States website. http://www.fcacentralstates.com You can park with the club or submit your car for judging. The car has to be accepted by the committee for judging.
