I am in need of the rectangular side marker chrome (plastic) bezel for the front markers on a US spec Dino. Interestingly enough, they are the same on the front of a Dino as for a 365GTC/4. I had 2 of my cars hit by teenagers this year and, therefore, need 4 of these surrounds. I have the new lenses. I've called Denis McCann, Eurospares, and GT Carparts. Anyone have any ideas or would be willing to part with some?

    I have 4!!!

Unfortunately, they're in storage. What's your time frame?

I also think they are the same as the alfa of the same period.

An alpa parts place like international auto parts might have them. www.international-auto.com

My Euro car had rectangular side markers installed when it was imported in the mid-1970's.
I don't know for sure, but it would make sense that they are Fiat 124 parts, since they would have been easily sourced back then.
If they are, then the Fiat 124 part is not the same as the Dino part, as I found out when I ordered some Dino parts from Reoriginals. While they look similar from a distance, they are actually longer than what is in my car.

Have you tried Reoriginals? They had all but one of the rear pieces maybe a year ago. (All four pieces are different.)

    Schross,

Why don't you measure what you have or need and post a message on the "Other Italian" board asking people to measure what's on their Fiats and Alfas. You may find a match that way.

I have the originals out of my '74 GTS and NOS ones in the Fiat bags. I will double check on them tomorrow to make sure I am right. I have been wrong before (just kidding).

C4 side markers are not the same as Dinos, while the outside diminsions are the same, the interior (sides) offsets are particular to the curves of each fender's sheet metal, within each cars set there are two pair: the right rears and the left fronts are one as is the left rear and right front. Michael,

You keep popping up everythwere I do. I own an early Fiat Spider, a Dino and a 365GTC4. The ones on the 365 are the same as the Daytona but I can't speak to the dfference between the 365 and teh Dino. However, Michael, I will pass this on the the guy who has a box full of 365 bezels. Maybe I get the Dino bezels from DM-n-Stuff and the 365 ones from a guy on the west coast. I'll keep the search going.

I have a NOS Ferrari bezel and a Fiat bezel. The Ferrari bezel has a flatter outside rim while the Fiat one is more rounded. The back sides are a little different also. The Ferrari bezel has the words SITOPLAST and Careggio cast into the plastic whereas the Fiat type has no script. The old ones on my '74 GTS had the Fiat type. It was a 29,000 mile car in '84 when I got it and had been painted once. Can't imagine they would have been replaced but who knows? Installed you would be hard pressed to tell the difference. Ferrari may have used both types as they are so close in appearance.

Well, I found another NOS bezel in the Ferrari bag and it was the Fiat type. My theory now is that the two bezels were so close in appearance that Ferrari used them both.

I just came across this thread while searching for information on side marker bezels. I am in need of a pair of Dino front side marker bezels. These are the bezels which have "SITOPLAST" on the back. If anyone has a pair they are willing to part with please PM me.

    Thanks,
    Mike.
