leave them on.... you know if you really want to be correct the original LP400s had no flares, wings, skirts or bumpers on them.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I like the cleaner look of no side skirts. However, the side skirts that are on the car are not after-market, they were stock around 1988 I believe. So, the car "looks right" with the side skirts on too. Plus the side skirts might make the car look too exotic (LOL).
In my opinion, the car should be as stock as possible. (no skirts). Side skirts were added in 88.5, by the factory. Non flare cars, with XWX skinny tires, were produced from 74-77.
Carrie says take them off. I say take them off, the curves really accent the tires without! Then again, it looks pretty cool with the side skirts! Robert
I thought about that also--but most cars like this are garage kept and white usually doesn't sun fade as bad as dark colors...
I think you should take off the skirts and add some dolphins. Say, didn't someone else already beat you to that?
Geez. I like 'em. But I also like the car without them, so if original is skirt free, I say, "LOSE THE SKIRTS!" What a great looking car. Who would have thought white would be good on that, but it sure is! good luck with her. Dave
It looks like you will need the lower flares to put on. It doesn't look like the skirts are on top of the original flares.
You are correct, thats why it will take some time to do this. Evans has the pieces but they will need to be painted to match the car.
It would be hard to make that decision. I like the cleaner lines, just my worthless 2 cents. cheers ken Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
