Just got back from Goodwood Revival weekend...... This sold at Bonhams auction on Friday. Very nice and tidy GTs but only made £84K... bit disapointing i thought.

$150,000 for a nice example RHD GT seems right on market to me. Is that with buyer's premium?

    AHHHH......

Missed the S in the original post.

that being said, was the car a beauty, all tools, books, etc. or just a nice driver.

To be honest i wasn't there on the Friday it sold so i have no idea about the ALL important peripherals such as books and tools, Perhaps somebody with more knowledge will reveal all.
And the car was a beauty inside and out but not concours by a fair way.

I was there on Saturday and 84k includes premium (and VAT), £75K Hammer price against an estimate of £85-£95k Nice car a bit over restored - paint a bit too thick and "nail polish" like. The other car a Rosso GT only made £60k on the hammer (£67K inc premium & VAT) against an estimate of £65-£75k. I believe that this car was at KHPC in 2003 at £47,995.

So far this year of 12 cars offered at auction, only 1 car has exceeded the minimum estimate and that just crept over by £1k and 3 haven't sold. Coys has another nice GTS coming up in October (although they haven't put up the listings yet for some reason) that has been advertised privately for a month or two. On average cars that sold were at 97% of minimum estimate and 82% of maximum estimate (and the estimates are down significantly in the Autumn sales)

Looking at the cars at dealers, we've seen mark downs across the board in the past few weeks and a host of POAs that personally I always associate with market uncertainty, although some well known UK dealers (eg DK) never quote prices.
