Changed the Silentbloc at the transmission end of the shift linkage.
It was a heavy press fit in the part extending out of the engine/trans
Made the shown tool to push the old bloc out and the new one in
    Job takes about 30 minutes!
Put the transmission in third gear and worked in the space between the engine and frame crossmember

I just use a pair of sockets.

Never owned a tool for the job.

Thought about two sockets and a C clamp but could not see how to get in there!

I guess if you can do it with two sockets...I waisted my (and your) time!
To answer your question, the only "critical"dimensions are those for tube C

You key off the dimensions of the Silentbloc
My replacement had an OD of .630 so I made C with an OD of .585
The OD of the center tube of the Silentbloc was .390 so I made the hole in C .395

    Hope this helps you
