The good old days, when Bertone was the design company to beat! Bertone stand Ferrari Rainbow, Fiat X 1/9 and the three lamborghinis standen next to them!
Spilt Bravos on the right side of the Sil. and production Bravos on the left side. But I wonder if it was the same split ones that was used on the Bravo when it was painted Green?
#40000 proto Nero or Rosso? Are there any color pictures of the early proto #40000 with airscoops on top of roof? These black & white pictures might let people think it was black, but when I look closely at the front bonnet for example, I really think this car was not black, but probably red. The spats and engine cover would have been black. As for the body colour, unfortunately it is too late to ask Sterzel but others may remember...
I think this looks more historical correct. Let's hope some day a period color picture will show up to be 100% sure ;-) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's really a fantastic picture!!!! Thanks for sharing!! We must find a Salon Paris picture with #40006 as well! For the German owner, here is an update of #40080 on the Silhouette Register: http://www.lamborghini-register.nl/lamborghini/home/v8/silhouette/silhouette-register/40080
P300V8: I have been asking some french people on Facebook for Silhouette Salon Paris 1976 pictures. No result so far... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have a later Lambo special issue of Quatroroute where this picture came from, but most likely these pictures were published already in quattroroute magazine in 1976, any idea when/month? I suspect the car was first red with black (proto with airscoop), then white with red interior, then red with red interior, and finally delivered in red with senape interior. Any comments?

There is a nice Silhouette picture, taken by Jon Winding-Sorensen, on page 141 in the Urraco book written by Arnstein Landsem. Looking at the SATURN & SCIONERI signs also seen at the picture already sent by P300V8, this also must be #40080 ;-) Image Unavailable, Please Login
