    Hi dear Silhouette friends,

I have an issue about the ventilation slots on my engine lit? I know no another Silhouette with aluminium polished air inlets, except the photos in Lamborghini Supercar Supreme page 77. Can somebody clearify this issue? Is this 40016 with the original interior? But at the Geneva 1977 show there was 40000 or Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login 40032 with this interior?

Hi there, the pictures you sent of the red car with red/black interior are all of #40000. that car was at Geneva 1976. At Geneva in 1977 was #40032, red with light grey or white seats, like the car on the brochure. The car probably is the brochure car, like P300V8 said. Here is a picture of your car when it was still in Switzerland, with black air outlets, so yours are probably after market polished to aluminium ;-)

    Hi all,

    Here's a Japanese Silhouette.
Looks like it has an early bumper with double deck lights, but I'm not sure about this one.
    Anybody?

40000 proto raised boxes that house the silver vents are different. I reckon they were based of the french deck cars and which are taller and steeper than the normal production silhs. ivors car may also be taller since his car has early anomalies.

Is the blue Silhouette in Sport.auto (June 1978) chassis 40040, 40060 or 40070?
What is the chassis number of the red Silhouette in the Auto Zeitung article (77/03)?
Is the silver Silhouette in Car (August 1978) chassis 40096?
Is the silver Silhouette in Modern Motor (July 1978) chassis 40100?

Hi Rhyno, after going through my documentation, it looks like the red car in the article from Auto Zeitung had a clear window and sun visors!

The blue SIlhouette in Sport Auto is #40072 , for a long time I thought it was #40040 however the Sport auto Silhouette is acapulco blue, has the later bumper and the inserts for the side blinkers, as a result it must be #40072
Auto Zeitung article (77/03) is new for me , there was a red SIlhouette in Auto Zeitung (77/01) "Ein Stück vom Himmel" which must be #40024 but was not aware that there was a Silhouette in Auto Zeitung (77/03) too.
The silver Silhouette in Car (August 1978) is indeed #40096
The silver Silhouette in Modern Motor (July 1978) is indeed #40100
