I have recently purchased some silicone hose from Viper Performance here in the Uk. The reason used them was they could do a 38mm id 4 meter length with a quick turnaround (2 weeks), and was also perfect for the two long hoses that run through the centre of the car. With the extra to cut down for the short couplings throughout the cooling system. They do most colours as well, I went for red (I will probably get slated for being a non purist) on my race project. They also do a vintage black finish for concourse, originality etc... I have no affiliation with the company but they did provide a friendly and polite service,and the quality is superb (its easy as good as Samco or Sfs). For you guys across the pond it would work out about $45 a meter with the exchange rate + shipping.
