Hello, I would like to replace the sill plate on my 2010 California with carbon ones. I don´t have any idea how to remove the original ones. Does anybody have link or a drawing hoe they are fastened? Greetings from Germany, Guenter
Greetings Guenter, here is a photo of the back of a recycled Cali sill plate from a wrecker's website (name on the tag attached to the sill). As you can see, there are 4 strips of what appears to be double-sided rubberfoam tape attached along the edges of the sill. Since there are no screw holes, a reasonable guess would be that it is simply double-sided-taped to the door sills. Image Unavailable, Please Login
