I know this is a silly question.. and I have the owners manual with a diagram of the location.

I can find everything else for a basic oil change except that reservoir drain plug. I am (usually) competent on oil changes and have been doing them for years on all my other cars.

Keep in mind, I am not on a lift but sliding around underneath the engine with 6" wood blocks under the tires.. so visibility is a bit low. I 'have' done this on another TR I owned a few years ago. I remember I had the same issue but I had eventually found the plug. Where should I be reaching around?.. better yet.. any pictures?

    Thanks in advance,
    -Kevin

I took a look at the TR Workshop manual instead. and there is a much better diagram showing the location. I'll try tracing one of the big oil tubes as that diagram shows.
It 'does' look different from the owner's manual though but it may just be the perspective.

If you don't hear from me in a day, then I found the plug and finished the oil change ;)

    Thanks in advance...
    -Kevin

I found it. Easy once you see it. Very messy.

It appears I gained some weight since I did this last (~4 years ago) I can barely slide underneath the engine like I used to. I had to go even farther underneath.

The next time this TR gets an oil change will be at its Major next year.. and a very experienced tech doing it.

    Kevin...
All just so much easier on a lift.

    Best,
