This is Countach Annivesario 12085, the last Countach officially built by the works at Sant' Agata of its Swan Song variant, the end of an era.

One of a handful of Annivesarios painted in silver. We have it on the Registry as just 3 cars made in silver, but as we all know by now, received wisdom is ever forthcoming, and now I have a record of at least 5 cars originally in silver, maybe 6. Of course the Registry will be updated...

i like when you say "officially the last Countach" so we can assum that there's probably one or more cars built after n12085, if those cars exist do you know where they are? it would be an amazing find...

i know of a red one in italy that was to the last made ...or at least the last for a customer
sold one year ago by Luzzago (i had not cheked the VIN, sorry )

Hey Joe any word on whether or not The factory '1st and last' cars will show at Concorso, i know they lend them out occassionally as they were at Essen recently. see pic

They do lend them out and in fact "12085" has visited Concorso in California before in August 2001. We have asked, but its a matter of cost & logistics so I will only know that they are coming if the factory decides to tell us prior. I think they like to keep their options open...

The teenage Annivesario reminds me of the gawky, ugly teenager that everyone thinks is gorgeous 10 years later. The car's styling is unquestionably flamboyant and over-the-top, but in 10 years time many might feel differently....

Gorgeous. Great pictures. I don't think I've ever seen seats quite like those in a Countach either.

 

Standard for Annivesario. Contrary to popular belief, you could actually order the car with optional sports seats too...
