    I have some pictures of a silver GTO from Mexico at Watkins Glen in the late 80's. I assume this is the same car.

    I feel just the opposite...I'm not attacking it from a purist's point of view, I just think it looks strange in silver.

    No way, red! The older the Ferrari the better it looks in red imho... except the 250 GT looks great in silver, blue, whatever

    Because its such an extreme lookintg car already it kind of looks good in an understated silver.

    It does look fantastic in red! Have you seen the pics of the black on though? Oh my god, a -WET- dream. (it's wet in the pics, if you haven't seen them... get it? heh...)

    yep I've seen them, I even made a thread about it :) I still think red looks best though... pure Ferrari or something

    Agreed, pure Ferrari and the 288 just suits it down to a t. Some Ferraris I would prefer in other colours but the 288, red it is!
