One way of ruining a perfectly good automobile.

 

Seeing that picture bought to mind the crazy paint jobs on the dozens of 1980s Rolls this guru had on his compound somewhere in the U.S. a few decades ago. Anybody remember these cars and can post some photos? Surprised more don't turn up at auctions unless most were eventually repainted.

I got to drive one of them when I worked a Christmas party as a valet back in 1989, it was at Overseas Motors in Dallas. The Rolls was painted different shades of blue with a stary night scape complete with planets. It reminded me of those custom van paint jobs from the 70's.

 

That was the Bhagwan Shree Rashneesh. His goal was to have 365 Rolls Royces. (One for each day of the year.) He only aquired around 90 of them.
