My red 246 GT has repainted wheels which are a grey-silver colour & seem to look dull compared with the bright red paint. The spare wheel appears to have the original colour which is a less grey more silver tone. With all the bright automotive silver paints available today ,would it be acceptable to brighten the wheels without cheapening the appearance of the Dino ?
What have you done to your wheels ?

Grey is correct for the wheels, but customize as you see fit. An easy and professional way to obtain that brighter color you desire is with a kit that Griots sells for painting wheels. It results in a silver with light metal flake and I think is targetted for German cars. Best deal for only $60 and anyone with moderate painting skills can do it at home.
