Help me out, here. Am I just not seeing it? Qualifying tape delayed until 14:00 Eastern, race tape delayed until 11:30 Eastern, and no GP2 anywhere to be found?
Race is posted locally (Atlanta) as British Athletics GP but is on CNBC live. As stated, it looks like NBC is tape delaying qualifying due to Tour de France coverage
Qualifying is on CNBC live also (8a EST on 6/29...5a for us on the West Coast). It will also be live-streamed on the NBC Sports App in case there is different programming in your market. Thanks for the help, everyone. I found the race on CNBC Sunday morning, but not Quali. My local listings for Saturday morning show CNBC airing "Cindy Crawford Reveals Secrets To Ageless Beauty." Grrrrr! Why does finding the race have to be a skill testing question every other week? And still no GP2 to be found...
I have Directv and if you hit the menu button, then "search & browse", then "smart search", type in "formula one" it will bring up all shows for the next couple of weeks related to formula one. I was able to select everything in HD for Silverstone and then the German race as well. Hope this helps and is not redundant.
Houston directv still indicating Silverstone quali delayed at 1pm cst, saturday, on NBCSHD. Race live 6:30am cst, Sunday, CNBC.
Exactly. Why purchase the rights to cover and then destroy whatever audience exists by broadcasting practice, qualy and the race on three different channels. Stupid asses.
+1 This is their "superbowl" though. Albeit the sucker goes on for two damn weeks..... Idle thought; I wonder how the ratings compare between the two? However, I've gotta say, "come on guys!" - Worst case, go to Bernie's site and it'll give you all the session times in your local TZ. Then, go search the likely channels at those times; NBC, NBCS, CNBC. You'll find 'em, albeit probably mislabeled (For example, they're claiming it's P1 when it's really P2 in my case). One caveat; When I tried the (highly recommended BTW) approach suggested by E60M5 above, the first ones it found were the Spanish broadcasts. [I did check, but they're not showing anything "we" can't get live.] If I can wake up, I'll be on Sky. Still can't do the Beeb due to time issues. NOTE; Times below are Pacific...... These seem to be correct for Atlanta, and presumably, the rest of the Eastern time zone; make adjustments for your own time zone: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/south-central-usa-tn-ms-al-ga/413440-british-grand-prix.html#post142400048
If NBCS fawks us again I am going to be furious. I have Direct TV and I have practice, qualifying and the race programed. Guess I'll drowned my sorrows in brisket if it does not happen.
NBC must be completely brain dead... no live Quali in my area... South FL prob has more F1 fans than any other metro area. Good job NBC. With the constant silly rule changes,... the sterilization of the engines,... and the test ban which makes the season fairly pointless after the 1st couple of races... I'm barely interested anymore anyway.
