    On several pictures of the current F1 test session at Silverstone I noticed all F1 teams including Ferrari have an extra large antenna on top of the camera above the engine air inlet. Is it used for extra heavy data transfer during the test or ... ?

    It has a pitot tube on top of it to measure air speed and air pressure above the car.

    Here is one i took yesterday showing what you have asked about...

    My colleague has pics of a new style brake duct that Lewis was trying for a short while in the morning. I didnt notice it at the time but he says it is very different.
