Looking at the map, Las Vegas is the no brainer on transport. OTOH being there and not seeing the Pebble Beach weekend seems a shame.... Man this is complicated, But the deposit went in the mail! Onward.....
You should call Pro Italia in Glendale. They are a huge Duc dealer (I have bought two there) and they have shipped bikes for people.
I also live in Simi Valley and can suggest some canyons out here to ride if you are interested! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
OK, fires are under control....Testshoot hit the nail on the head! OK, I need an agent, to go by and touch the bike, and hand him my money.... Pro Italia is on board at that point, to send a van, pick it up and get HaulBikes to bring it the rest of the way..... The seller wants cash, which is "kind of" understandable, but geez this has turned into an ordeal! Nothing compared to the fires, of course.
Thanks for that! Well UPDATE: My deal did not go down at the time of tis thread, due to the fires. Over a year later, the bike is still available! So, I am hoping to put the pieces together... ProItalia will fit new ties and give it to HaulBikes, in Glendale. I just need to get the cash into the seller's hands. Thanks everyone! I will come back and buy the Xerox 999, and ride with you on that!!! Woot!!
Thanks to new member Tegethoff, (and Tillack & Co/Fast Cars Ltd.) it is sorted!! Looking forward to closing that unfortunate chapter of life and moving on.......Thanks Adam!! See you Out West!!! I might still come out, to get that 999R....... On the train, I suppose......
THANKS! I thought you might have posted the pictures up, by now. New tires and Inspection she is running the streets!!! I only made it back to San Antonio, myself hit heavy rain and stopped with friends in Olmos Park.
