    i checked out rennlist, but you gotta pay for that. there is also 6speedonline, which i registered for and posted on, but there is not much traffic there in the 964 section. anybody know a well-trafficked porsche site i can get DIY advice on?

    What do you mean you have to pay for Rennlist? I've been reading & posting there for years & certainly haven't paid anything...

    Otherwise, you might try Pelicanparts

    i went today and i saw a one year subscription to the site for 17 bucks...maybe i read it wrong. will check out pelican.

    For your $17 on Rennlist you get access to searching the archives for tons of technical info. You don't have $17? You can take the bus and borrow tools too. :)

    You dont have to pay to be a member. You can pay $17 for the benefits mentioned above. But you don't have to.

    thanks for the responses....i posted on pelican parts. sounds like the DME relay could be the culprit. thanks again.
